KEEP GERMS AWAY!
Germs transferred by shoes and dirty concrete
A study done by Dr. Charles Gerba, a microbiologist and professor at the University of Arizona, found that 1 in 4 shoes had E. Coli bacteria on the bottoms. These shoes were found to transfer that bacteria to clean surfaces 9 out of 10 times. Simply by washing the shoes with detergents, Dr. Gerba was able to achieve a 99% reduction of bacteria. Which is easier to clean? Your exterior surfaces on an annual basis or every person’s shoe that walks on those surfaces? Especially in commercial applications, the answer is clean the exterior surfaces!
Why hot water? Hot water dissolves greases and soils on filthy surfaces better than cold water. Add hot water and a high quality detergent together and the results are fantastic. Standard practice includes using hot water to clean dishes, vehicles, clothes, and human bodies. The same goes for your exterior surfaces at your home or business. You cannot achieve a truly clean surface with cold water. We use hot water whenever we possibly can and mix it with quality detergents because it gives us better results. Before you hire a professional, ask them if they use hot water!
